Timer being shown is not a requirement.

Again, you don't need an on-screen timer for any speedrun. Not having one will not make it even a tiny bit illegitimate. Post-timing is probably even preferred for the 'official run time', since live timing is basically guaranteed to be at least slightly inaccurate.

This discussion is moot, since it is impossible to not have a timer in your video.
