Steering with mouse controls causes you to NOT LOSE SPEED on curves for some reason! I explain how I kept top speed with Shadow Jet during Atrium in the video at the end. That means that menuing to Power Rocket and back is no longer needed, saving precious time! It might be possible to cut off a split second if you get only silvers, but I'm not sure how much to slow down.
