I think you're overthinking this a bit. They're just pictures, people choose a picture they like and use it. There isn't like a specific place to get speedrun.com donator icons specifically.
Unless your talking about the shields (like the one Shiken has). Those are indicators for site staff - the gold A badges are the site admins, the silver F ones are for site full mods and the bronze C ones are for site content mods.

You mean moderation icons? (Red sword for super mod, green sword die regular mod). Those show up on users who are moderators for an LB and it only shows up for the users on that specific board.

No one lives in Antarctica. It has no permanent population or settlements, just scientific bases that are staffed for (at most) a few months at a time when it's summer in the Southern Hemisphere.
I know I researched on it after I said that it has 1000 at winter and 4000 at summer but it said he lived in Antarctica it also said 20-30 other people lived in Antarctica.
