All the level runs I have submitted so far, were done with a widescreen mod. My question is: Do you guys allow this?

Well, it doesn't affect the gameplay itself, you're not modding vehicles or making the races easier with mods. All you're doing is making the game more visually appealing, so i'd say it's fine.
