Make sure you know how to install PCI express cards on your motherboard and have at least 1 slot open.
You will need one of these: http://www.rosewill.com/?product=rosewill-rc-302e-pcie-1-port-parallel-card
And one of these: http://www.raphnet-tech.com/products/snes_controller_parport/index.php
Install the PCI express card on your motherboard. Download and install the most recent drivers from the manufacturer link above.
Set Windows to test mode (ppjoy will sadly not work without this): https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/install/the-testsigning-boot-configuration-option
Reboot
Install the latest ppjoy (allows windows to recognize your parallel port controller as an interface device): https://github.com/elitak/PPJoy/releases
Install Joy2Key https://joytokey.net/en/ OR AntiMicro (but not both) (this program allows you to map controller inputs to keyboard keys): https://github.com/AntiMicro/antimicro/releases
Joy2Key should recognize your LPT3 controller since you have ppjoy and the rosewill drivers installed.
Enjoy your virtually lagless PC snes input!
