That room is pretty consistent. I'm kinda guessing here, but it looks like you were a bit too slow on getting out of the vent, which allowed one of the guys in the room to see you and be alerted before the gargoyle explosion, changing their behaviour.
Autosplitter Update (100%)
I've just updated the autosplitter to add auto splits for all the backtracking segments in 100%. Everything in the 100% and 100% Glitchless splits that was previously marked as "[Manual]" is now automatic.
