yes we do in fact reject runs from specific players that Break The Rules In Their Runs
it doesn't give you a slight speed boost, your camera moves a bit forward when you equip it and moves backwards when you equip it
basically it's just a visual glitch that has no impact on runs
from my experience it's less based on ping and more based on the server itself; if the server takes longer to process the generation of future rooms the doors will open slower
even when i'm at 200+ ping i don't notice a different from when i'm at 60-80
as long as at least one person in the run uses a screen recorder, you could just point a phone or camera at your screen as long as you can make out the details on screen
i think the easiest solution is Not Adding The Category
even if someone did manage to develop such a tool, it would have to read into the game's code in a similar manner as cheat engine which is a third party exploit
it'd be like using a tool in minecraft that reads your seed and immediately tells you the stronghold location, broken portal frame, etc
yes, people can die and the run is still valid as long as their recording continues until all players finish the run
