Just took some time today to test this out and I was able to replicate it! Your Book of Hours clips were helpful. For anyone else wanting to try it out I've attached a video below of the glitch in Cultist Simulator. This is on the current version of the game (2024.A.2)
I wonder if you can use this glitch to imprison a follower while keeping the follower; I'll be testing this next. If so I think it could improve times for Bright Young Thing. The glitch should definitely save time for Aspirant runs because you won't have to find multiple books of your main aspect. Exciting!
This thread is in regard to Ianwubby's recent New Animal Arrivals run that saved time seemingly via lag reduction. I've attempted this same strat 3 times on my game, it doesn't seem to have saved any time I still get 13:50 exactly. I am playing on the base game, disc version on PC. I'm not sure if that would affect lag, let me know if you guys have any other thoughts, I think this is an interesting topic and just figured I'd share my results.
I understand the idea of having any% and 100% categories is for levels with bonus goals, but for early levels where any% and 100% are the same (no bonus goals) then to which category should runs be submitted? Should they go to both? Not a huge issue but I'd like to be consistent going forward. Cheers. ^^
No problem. I appreciate it dude, and no rush!
Hi all, not sure who is still active around these parts but I've seen a couple people mentioning using a specific save file to influence RNG for their run - how is this done? I can't find any information on doing this and I'd like to explore more categories within this game! Thanks ^^
