Michigan, USAI don't think I honestly care enough about this game to be the head hancho anymore. I'm gonna hand over super mod to whoever y'all think deserves it and step down.
I don't remember my stance back in the day but I think switching to IGT (i.e. Mission 1 timer starts at 1:00 and you finish at 0:29 so thats 31 seconds and you add it up for all 10 missions) is a good idea. I think the reason IGT flopped back in the day is because of the intense recount it required. This way you don't have to worry about frame precise counts. Can use a counter on livesplit and do the math as you go instead of RTA timer. Don't know why the thought popped in my head but I could re-time all the runs and such. This way is fair across all consoles and emu because load times and frame rate mean nothing. I think this will promote more people to run the game since they wouldn't need a good PC to be competitive.
I'm looking for a new mod for this game since I don't run it anymore and have no motivation to moderate it single-handedly. If you think you'd be good tell me why. Ty
