I've submitted a few shitty runs of it because I'm noob but I'm getting better all the time. I reckon I can achieve sub 1:40 soon.

I'm a Metroid runner myself but I'm a bit rusty right now so it might be a while before I can get a respectable run uploaded.

I mostly play bass but I own an acoustic and electric as well.

I own a Rockburn bass, a Yamaha Pacifica electric guitar and an Encore acoustic guitar. Pretty basic stuff.

I'm still a novice and don't practise nearly as much as I should. Kind of a shame because I really, really like bass guitar.

Well you might need to visit the toilet badly.

I might consider running this at some point on my PS4. I can't stand any% on Abe games, I just have to save them all :p

Should we have a separate category for PC or are the speeds negligible?

I think I watched it a few weeks ago. I definitely watched the 100% and Abe's Exodus too.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's got more than halfway into a run with good time and then done something stupid and ruined it.

What do you do when that happens?

I generally throw my controller at my bed behind me. Then I take some deep breaths and go for a walk.

I bloody love that game and the original. The only thing that stops me trying to run it myself are those damn bombs.

So I'm just gonna stick to Castle of Illusion and Resident Evil for now.

I almost bought Shadow Dancer last year but I lost the auction. I have to other two Shinobi games though. Revenge of Shinobi is my favourite of the two. I'm nowhere near good enough to speed run them.

You're totally right. One of the Sega games I played earlier which would actually make for an awesome speed run isn't even listed on here or Speeddemosarchive. It has been tased though. It's Taz: Escape from Mars and it's a really good game. I wish someone would run it already. Not me, far too difficult a game.

I think I will stick to Resident Evil and Sonic for now.

You would need to keep logs to make sure no one was being bullied and stuff. I noticed there's no report button either. Something else to think about for the future perhaps?.

Metroid isn't so bad. I was going for any% but unfortunately I discovered that the world record is an amazing 15 minutes. So I probably won't bother now. No way I'm topping that.

I'm going to try Sonic 1 instead since I own a Mega Drive.

I would love if somebody would. I ran this earlier and got a respectable time of 58 minutes. Of course it was nothing compared to the world record of 15 minutes. :p

I recently did some Resident Evil HD speedruns and now I can't think of anything else to try.

How does one show the timer during a stream? Does it show automatically or should I be clicking on something somewhere?

I use an Elgato game capture to record footage. I want to start speed running more games but I don't know how to have my livesplit timer running along side my streams. Only thing is, I don't know much about how to do that. I've tried Googling but I don't get much help from that. Help would be appreciated.
