I never browsed the site while being logged-off, but now I tried it and I also noticed the big differences. As you said, it's 0.5-1 second vs. 5-7 seconds of loading a page.
I guess the main culprit here is the server-side query(ies) that loads all your account details - username, icon, theme, last 10 notifications, last 10 messages, runs awaiting verifications count, and list of followed games. It seems that all of this data is loaded each time you load a new page, and it doesn't matter if you disable some of those in the settings. It might be that loading all of this data takes time in general, or one type of data is slow in particular.
A solution might be to save some of those account details in a cache, so the site won't have to load them each time. However, while for most accounts the notifications/messages/theme/followed games aren't changed often, the cache should be updated to reflect any changes.
"Story-based" is not a title that dictates the game genre, mechanics or gameplay. So I don't know where "often simplistic in terms of gameplay" is coming from. You can have story-based platformer games, puzzle games, first-person exploration games, point&click games, JRPGs, action RPGs, and many more.
@1 Only work on game rules, but not guides, which were my main point of the question (I forgot to specify that).
@SavirPlayzLike If you actually read through this thread, you could see that this website lets you track gamepads: https://gamepadviewer.com/
Normally I would say that you can delete your run submission. However, in the first 7 days after the creation of your account, you can't delete runs for some reason. You can edit the run (through your pending actions page), and change the link to point to the correct video. If you don't have any run yet, then write in the run comments that you submitted by mistake and ask the verifier to reject it.
@GTAce99 Can you please explain how do you edit the video links of the runners? (I'm the one who found out about the alphabetical order by the way)
For example, in the minus world category you currently have a 3-tie in 2021-07-06 between yourself, Niftski and LeKukie. YouTube video URLs are generated at random, so how do you force an exact order for the three of you?
