Cheating in speedruns in a few of my free time. It took me about half of the time I was waiting for the rest by the time I finished. But the point is that people always feel sorry for you and you never know before that you will fall behind. Most people never find out what really happened to you. You are already a problem, so you will never find out and then you never will find out. If you fail you may never find out. But the fact of the matter is everyone wants you to be good and to always play the game. That makes being good, you want to play the game and it is a huge part of you, too.

You can try to do a run with no deaths, but I don't think it should be a separate category. Dying in this game is not a strat, so fewer deaths just means you are more skilled at the game. In this game you want to avoid deaths anyway, because you lose time.

Times like that should count as the same time, and adjusted to any multiplication of a 1/60 frame: 0.016, 0.033, 0.050, 0.066, 0.083. I created a new version of the game with a level timer (I will properly advertise it later), so this can be used for accurate timing as well.

I agree that the latest "only X can do Y" threads in the Talk forum are annoying. But, to be the devil's advocate here - out of all the 14 different threads like that in the past 3 months, @jackzfiml has created just 4 of them. While this is the highest amount for a single person, all the rest of the threads were created by other accounts. (Unban_norris created 3) I am also one of the sinners myself, because of the longcats thread.

@Longcat really joined the site just to never be seen again. Should we be worried?

Do you mean the page that listed the users with most runs or categories? ( https://www.speedrun.com/users ) That page was taken down some months ago, to save issues with lot of traffic to the site. The page hasn't been uploaded back ever since.

You need to jump as soon as you leave the pink jelly area. A successful jump will give you a speed-boost for some reason.

It is very similar to how you can jump from "Star-Blocks" in Celeste, after dashing through them.

I actually re-submitted my any% run to have it with the PC platform. Kinda unnecessary when I think about it.
