Being dead has some interesting effects like being unable to punch or sprint, and collision is very wonky. It enables a decently-sized zip in Bonehell. Probably useful somewhere else too, haven't bothered to check. At any time during being 'dead' you can press start to instantly revert to a checkpoint. All you need to do to start a level dead is hold ESC on the main menu until you die, then hit continue.

To instakill house, just press ctrl, that's all.

3DS's have a slow SD card reader so it's been proven across many games that cartridge is slightly faster, the difference is quite minor though.

Also loading is way faster on New 3DS, Old 3DS suffers from delay upon move selection in intense battles because it seems like the AI takes forever to run and Old 3DS can outright crash on one of the fights so strats are slightly different between the two there.

Pokémon is heavily text-based so the game being in English makes it a much better watch. On top of that, English is known to be the fastest language for X&Y (interestingly enough) and might very well be for ORAS, although I don't know that for certain.

It would also be nice to have a pretty background, perhaps of Fortune Night as all characters play it and it is arguably one of the most liked stages.

The fastest way to consistently do this is to jump off of the last bit of the upslope and start your boost when lilac is horizontally at the edge of the broken background pillar.

It's about .2 seconds faster than extending your cyclone glide and making it, and then uppercutting the enemy. I'd estimate that at saving about .5 seconds, so I'd say .5-.7 seconds of timesave over old strat.
