On a serious note, it does get really annoying checking new posts in the fourms only to see there are just people being salty their game got rejected.

I was unaware of that savefile. I was referring to the savefile in the Resources Tab.

But as @Lucky already mentioned save files seem to be tied to steam accounts and don't work for others.

If it's money you are needing the savefile for you can always use something like Cheat Engine for your money

And I believe that the savefile in the resources section is for PS3...

You dont really need the patch, if you follow my above post you never have to worry about that bug, and its faster anyways :P

You don't need the fix. You can just climb up the tower at the beginning of the chapter and snipe the majini holding the lever which skips the need for the keycard.

Question regarding capturing, i dont have a crt or any tv with older connections so i would have to use a modern connection. would that be possible and if so would there by noticeable input lag?

Hey, I was wanting to get into speedrunning some PS2 games (im mainly a PC game runner and some of the games i want to run have issues on PCSX2) so i was considering getting a real console to run the games. Only problem is i dont know what you would consider to be the "Optimal" setup. as in which model, run the game off disc or hdd etc. so if you guys could help me out that would be great ^_^

He accidentally deleted a bunch of runs by accident.

As far as im aware you cant (currently) specify subcategories on specific il's. its either all the il's or none of the il's

Your best bet at resolving the issue with the deleted runs would be contacting @Pac

This is not the place to ask. you would be best off asking the developer officially since you seem to be having an issue with the game.

And i seriously doubt you would sue anyone just for a small glitch in a video game.

But recording High scores using time is sub-optimal and quite confusing

1. Thats to be expected, especially on games with only 1 runner/mod,
2. usually Mods are people who have a good understanding of the game, so it makes sense that they mod the board
3. Well thats what moderators are supposed to do. they are supposed to verify runs, rejecting runs because they are better than yours is simply bad moderation.

I dont see how its a conflict of interest. would you rather have a moderation team that has never heard of the game before coming up with rules and verifying runs? it makes sense that the runners of the game also mod it, since they are the ones with experience of running the game and can assist others.

Complaint, Suggestion whatever you want to call it, i would like to have New Game and New Game+ as separate categories, looking at the other runs on the board (with the Exception of mine and @TysnJordan's) use NG+ in some form, imo this is unfair compared to NG runners as they have access to better weapons and attachments from the beginning which makes gunfights easier. i feel it would be more fair to separate the categories https://www.speedrun.com/bfh/run/y8q61xny https://www.speedrun.com/bfh/run/z5oqvdey https://www.speedrun.com/bfh/run/mk46dxxy they all use weapons only obtainable after beating the game (M249, silencers etc)

How you can set this as rules could be the following NG has to prove they are using a fresh savefile or new account (you can tell if it's fresh because when you select episodes on a fresh save it goes straight to difficulty instead of chapter select) whereas NG+ means you start the prologue through chapter select and has everything unlocked

If the game is running faster than intended then imho i would disallow them. It would give an unfair advantage to those running on emulator at 60fps compared to a real console or emu at 30fps

have you added "Scriptable Auto Splitter" to your livesplit layout? and have you changed the main timing method to In-Game time?
