No need for the snarky comment, Kryptek. We all know it's not connected to his account. Apasher should have removed that time once skater made a speedrun.com account, or Piticarus should have seen it when submitting the new run.
Slower or not, emulator is banned for a different reason. That reason is that Dolphin does not emulate the game properly. It is not accurate to console. I'd like a response from Alex.
Anything but 149. It looks lazy on the board.
Upon submitting a run, the site tells you that emulator is banned for this game. Yes of course I read the comment, that's how I knew it was on emulator. Why is this an exception though?
I don't go out of my way to talk to you. You have sent me private messages on 2 different accounts in the past on Twitch. It's not a personal thing, but you seem to bring up drama in a lot of different communities. You know nothing about me. Please stop acting like you do.
Also, like I said just yesterday: "This is a very new glitch. Be patient and trust that the mods will get around to this." It's already done. This thread was a waste of time from you as always. Just take life a bit slower man.
Alex recently approved a run that was played on emulator. Have rules changed?
This is a very new glitch. Be patient and trust that the mods will get around to this. Also you can edit your posts instead of posting 4 times in one thread.
You're modded. My delay was not due to moderating games, my fiance is visiting from the UK. She leaves tonight. Back to regular schedule tomorrow. BloodTrail
Yes. Last I checked it was a tie 2 to 2 so now that it's 4 to 2, I'll work on it. I have work tonight but I should be able to get it done by tomorrow. Thanks again for the input.

This is where I and a handful of others have submitted IL times. It may change in the future, who knows.
No IL categories because the game is short enough RTA.
Learn what you can and build your speedrun from there. Years ago, the game was straightforward and virtually glitchless. Over the years, a lot of work has been done to make the game faster. Start out small, then add on new strats as you can. You'll see your times improve. If you insist on speedrunning it glitchless, you won't be a better player of the game.
Regardless, speedrun what you want. It doesn't have to be reflected on the leaderboards 100% of the time.
If you wanted it uploaded instead of linked, you should have done it yourself.
Don't blame me, and don't continue to instigate drama. Nobody here is interested.
I'd suggest running on NTSC-J SNES. Emulator is generally looked down upon, as with VC. Good luck speedrunning.
don't help this guy. he loves drama in other communities. lock this thread now mods
Yes, that's fine. It's up to you. I believe I tried deleting that file once but then I couldn't launch the game. I then had to reinstall through Steam. If you can get it to work, go for it.
Basically when you press 2 inputs at the same time, it confuses the game. It prioritizes the "right" movement over other movements. The game thinks that since you pressed up/down then you SHOULD be able to move (so it moves you) BUT you also pressed right and that's a "possible" movement (eventually) so it moves you in that prioritized direction. It's hard to explain in text to be honest.
I just finish every run I do. It's tedious as hell and probably not the only way. Hopefully there's a future patch to reset progress in the options. Do not just start back at area 01 though. Runs must be done from reset progress.
