Heya! I was wondering if anyone has a master save file for NG+ runs. This game is a hell of a grind and I’d rather just get into the speedruns lol.

Also I was curious if anyone has inquired to a load remover for PC. If not I’d be curious to ask around. Thanks!

Hey all, I just picked up this game a little bit ago from Steam and tried using the autosplitter/LRT and it doesn't appear to be working. I haven't tried with the EpicGames release of it but pretty sure it's not my settings since I've used the exact same layout with other games with LRT.

I would love to run this game again so hopefully buying it from Steam isn't a dead end.

Hey everyone, I wanted to share this video that I saw get posted in Distortion2's channel. Apparently you have to get the iron insignia key and Mask of Sorrow before it works. I have not tried it yet but it seems to be a really good skip. I take no credit for finding this by the way just bringing it to your guys attention.

So yeah, I'm pretty sure this is a bug but in my Village of Shadows playthrough I died several times in the Lycan den. At one point, an enemy did a death from above attack that knocked me to the floor below then proceeded to almost immediately kill me.

Upon restarting at the Lycan den, with the exception of the two shielded lycans not another lycan spawned throughout the entire ascent. I don't have a video of what I did but maybe someone can make something of it.

However, this also led to a softlock in the following boss fight against Urias. Urias simply just doesn't show up.

Hey all! I was wondering if anybody had templates for some of the different categories with all the puzzles required in the splits. I'm primarily looking for the all panels template. This would save me a lot of time in the end since it takes quite a while to write down 523 splits.

I know turbo controllers are usually not allowed for speedruns but I've seen some runs be lenient for use of it in long games with heavy dialogue in NG+ so, figured I'd ask!

I know not many people run this category (yet, hopefully there will be more) but I've been noticing some slight variations in the challenges on PC vs console. Aside from the load times, the AI behave differently. I've noticed this now in Vacation Party but I'd have to do a run on both platforms to determine all the differences. Anyway, see what you guys think.

I don't do speedruns directly off of the PS4 because I personally find it boring to watch a speedrun with no timer lol so I have it set up with OBS. I just don't have a PC at the moment and that's how I picked up the Yakuza series on PS4 in the first place.

Thing is I'm interested in doing the NG+ runs and yeah, I really don't feel like going through the grind all over again on PC.

Wondering how different they are because I'm interested in getting to run the Yakuza series but may skip this one and Kiwami since they're not separate platforms and I have them on PS4.

Yeah sorry about that I'm an idiot lol. I could've sworn there was a way to organize by high scores but my mistake. Delete thread, whatever :( sigh, I really wish there was a way to make a category out of this!

What do you guys think about setting up level leaderboards or something like that for the Cabaret Club minigame? Just like a high score for each league. I think this (in my opinion) game within a game is too good to glance over and I would love to see some competition in getting that sweet moolah.

So I've been getting really into the challenge runs and I've noticed in the All Objectives for "Snuggle by the Fire", "Strip Poker", and "Vacation Party" can be finished in a single run. Would real time still need to be used for these challenges in they're finished in one go?

It doesn't seem that this game has been run in a while, but I may pick it up again. I was curious though did patch 1.1 fix the experience glitch? It wasn't stated in the patches directly but I heard it was fixed.

If that's the case would there be a possibility to add a 1.1 category to the board to accommodate for the updated version? Thanks!

I was wondering if NG+ was going to be added to the categories.

Also, could there be a possibility of adding shorter categories to this game such as a level leaderboard for individual palaces or adding a category for the ending you receive ratting out the phantom thieves at the end of Niijima's Palace.

This is just a really long run with few to no breaks so a shorter run may open up the possibility of more people running this game. Thoughts?
