First big difference between CD11 and Origins. There's a speed shoes monitor in the sky (dunno why), taking this monitor saves like 1 - 1.5 seconds over the old route. Much easier for full game runs, but annoying if you want to optimize it for the IL.
UPDATE: Sonic 1 Tails submissions reopened as of patch 2.0.2
