You can actually move at the start of a level before the portal icon on the screen fully goes away which saves a LOT of time, if you look closely enough its pretty easy to notice as on level 10 I didn't do it because i forgot somehow, it makes a good example of what not to do i guess (sorry the video is just a casual speedrun, wasn't sure what to upload for it but it requires a video).
