this is a new PB for me, and this run was pretty much good, i made some mistakes in the last part but the rest is fine. also the recording is a little bit laggy in some points, but i think that it's not too much of a problem. based on this, 2:56 (and maybe also 2:55) is definitively possible, i think that would be the theoretical time without mistakes. i've also been able to slide off the box after talking to Jed and Ottavio, and before picking the bone to throw, and then fall on the lower box, which saves i guess one second or half, because there isn't the fall animation (the one Larry does after falling from a high place). in that sequence i also slowed a bit bringing and putting immediately back the torch, cuz that helped me for falling on the small tiny edge of the lower box, i'm not sure that's the fastest way to do it but it's fine.
