I've been fascinated by speedrunning (Mainly ZFG!) for over a year now, and only recently have I found myself wondering if I should give it a shot.

I've been a gamer... basically since I was three years old. I'm not the smartest, or the luckiest, or the fastest, but there's a game I haven't seen speedran that I'd like to shoot for a World Record at. Not just because no one else has run it before, but because its a game that has very little information going for it that I believe could use the attention. I've been taking notes and setting up my PC to begin practice runs for it. I want to have something to show off by the time I can submit a run for it.

I'm just concerned over how easy it is for my computer to slow down, it's a very old system that can't even handle Minecraft at FPS higher than 10. The game I'm looking at is a fairly simple one, made with RPG Maker 2000. It's mostly consistent, but I still get bad lag spikes from time to time. I'm not gonna let that stop me from trying though!
