most of the Lap records I will probably beat sometime but 2 times were so exsausting that I will probably never do it again and those were Monaco and Montreal, Monaco because I hate the Wall riding and Montreal because I lost so much time in sector 1 that I needed to get throught the last chicane with 350 km/h without getting the Lap deleted
I still don't know how I got that Sao Paulo Lap, my guess is that one time while. I was doing a race I did a short cut and for some reason the Lap wasn't negated
I think I know what makes the difference, it is the Tire Wear since I tried a Carrer without tire wear and was 2s slower in Silverstone Testing then I was with tire wear
Maybe finally after many years you found a new strat to achieve faster times, as I think all players so far always seemed to have played in time trial mode. This would be a huge accomplishment for the competition and the really small F1 2011 handheld community. But this needs to be tested more to see if it can be an advantage in general or if it has to do with the emulation. Until further notice the time trial leaderboard, as I wrote before, shows the real console records by default and emulator runs have to be toggled in the filter options. Nevertheless your records are a great achievement.
Like I said most of my Records come from Q3 or FP1 so maybe it's the Tire wear that makes it out
now that I am also playing on my 2ds I don't think that the Emulator makes any difference since I get the same times there as I get on Citra/Lime3ds
for Example in Australia I have driven a 1.17.035, and in China a 1.26.760 and that's not that big of a difference and I am still not really back in old style with the 2ds as a controller
I think there is only one advantage on Emulator and that is that you have less lag, since especially the street tracks I have a lot of lag on the console
another big difference could be the teams we are using since for me the Lotus F1 is the best Car with HRT, Mercedes and McLaren behind it, then a bit worse Lotus-Renault, Williams, Torro Rosso and Red bull and Lastly I sadly have are the Ferrari Powered cars and the Force India and Virgin
Zuiopp you were right there is a difference between Emulator and Console, the Emulator is worse thanks for showing that to me I have now nearly beaten all of my records by a lot.
I will be posting them when I have beaten my Last 4 records
Are you happy now I have posted a new record for each track apart from Monaco, Montreal and Brazil, all of them were driven on my 2ds, as for why I didn't do those three is because the Montreal and Monaco records already took me a while and I don't know if I can beat them and Brazil was already drive on console
Hey StardustDragon - well done. We can't complain about that. It's actually extraordinary that you got a gap of 1,1 Sec. in Spa, and 1,8 Sec. In Silverstone. Not Bad. You completed them fair and square without an Emulator.
Thanks for "leaving" me my Montreal World Record - that was actually the first I competed here on this platform - and it is my favourite Track of all time, so I would appreciate not to much competition there anymore.
But yeah - well done to you - you deserve it.
Sebastian_Mang I don't know what you did in the first and second sector, I only beat it on the emulator because I was able to go through the Wall of Champions chicane with 340km/h
what's funny both the Spa and Silverstone record I would have already had before I stopped using Traction Control but with it my times went down a lot, apart from Brazil were I still have no Idea how I drove that 1:04 time
4 months my perfection lasted now let's see how long it lasts this time have beaten the new Yas Marina record by .9 and beaten my own time there by 1.6
Hi, I'm new here, just 3 weeks ago I started playing F1 2011, I thought I was good, but now I see that you are Michael Schumacher, Alberto Ascari, Bertrand Gachot,Niki Lauda, WOW,I see that I am just a rookie here,I would really love to achieve those lap times •w•
Hey ShibaCam, welcome. Yes we are quite good one could say. Some are Michael Schumacher, some are Ascari or Lauda - I am Jenson Button.
But Jokes aside, i've seen some of your Lap Times and must say that they are definetely not bad. P3 on multiple Tracks already is really good for a "Rookie". But trust me, those Top Times some of us do take a bit of practice, so they are for sure not easy.
With time it will come for you aswell and i am sure you will be able to fight us for the Topstep.
Keep pushing!
yeah especially UAE, Canada and Monaco are 3 tracks that even I hate as someone who has 16 of the lap records
I have been improving my times, before I did it with the Lotus, but now that I do them with the Redbull and I do a setup for each circuit, I was able to reduce almost a second, but, It's still so tricky in Monaco and Canada, the only circuit I can reduce my time without making my right thumb bleed is New Delhi and Budapest,I still don't know how you guys do it, these are times I never imagined were possible to obtain, oh and I forgot, sorry for my English, I can barely make an understandable sentence
