Look, I've had people pestering me here, on social media, and on my Twitch so I can approve runs:
To approve a run, I watch key parts of it just to make sure that everything looks okay - this takes some time.
I have other things to do.

I would understand if:
1) activity demanded it (it doesn't - takes months before one run shows up)
2) I was gone for weeks/months at a time (I check SR.com every other day)

If your run takes a few days to be approved - wait patiently and it'll be done.
Also if you keep pestering me about new mods - that pretty much guarantees you'll never be selected.
If anyone wants to be a mod, do some work for the community and then you might be rewarded - some years ago I modded someone who did pretty much nothing and I would very much like to avoid it.

I completely understand your opinion, but I would say that I do a lot for the Speedrun community.
I advertised a lot, wrote guides, runned new games and so on.
But I understand, of course, if you have a certain level of mistrust at the moment.
