New Jersey, USASo the only powerup is mushroom? Also what about other secondary powerups, like Penguin or the Ice and Fire Flowers? For categories to work, they have to be vastly different from each other. Also as soon as someone uses shell jump in the category and beats the time it's basically required to use it.
This is one of my favourite games in Nintendo's game series, and really want to run 100%. Anyone have any tips for me?

Quick question. Does this game have a Discord? If not, it'd be cool to have one since I play this game on and off and am thinking about making a custom SRC logo for it.
The main reason why Low% No World 5 will most likely never become popular is partly due to a few things.
1.) In Low%, you cannot pick up any powerups. This would make some points in the run, like 6-6, extremely unbearable due to either having to sit on a raft for minutes on end or take the risky route of swimming to the end, which has no consistent routing to my knowledge. 2.) A trick in 2-4 is required to skip 2-5 (2-6 is much slower) is harder than the 1-3 shell jump off of the area where in Any%, you would typically spin up to and enter the pipe to enter the cannon to World 5. It is an inconsistent airborne shell jump. 3.) Cannonless is extremely long already. The record is an hour and thirty minutes right now. With low%, I would guess that it would be at worst two and a 1/2 hours long. And that is all without being able to hit a checkpoint once in that amount of time.
I am still new to the community in terms of knowledge so I am not sure if this is accurate, but I tried so :P

Oh yeah, I know. Low% means the lowest percentage of something, so it would probaby just be Any% Minimum Items.
(Any% NRNGM) Ok, so I've heard about this game having a glitch (or an exploit or whatever the hell people want to call it) where you can go through boss fights faster by manipulating their RNG. Well, what if there was a category (or category extension) where you went through the game without the trick? I feel like that would be pretty neat.
(Any% Itemless) Instead of you just not having the bike, you could just do a Low% run and play the game without items. This is probably a bad idea because Rocky Mountains 2 exists, but yeah.
Sorry if I'm wasting people's time with this forum, I was just interested in other people in this community's thoughts on this would be.
