Welcome. I'm new as well. It's hard finding games we're good at am I right?
Original games are the same but they don't have difficulty settings. 100%, 50% and any%.
I already posted this idea somewhere else by accident but basically I'm wondering if we need to think about including a report button so that moderators can be quickly informed of a spammer or some other type of troll?
It's quite simple. You have the button which you click on and it leads you to a new form which you fill out explaining your reasons for reporting the person.
I saw that we have a spammer on the site and I doubt he will be the last. Should we think about implementing a report button for this kind of scenario?
Sorry I think I put this in the wrong place. It's late and I've had a beer. That's my excuse.
Welcome. Everyone of those games are great so I look forward to seeing them run.
I'm gearing myself up for Resident Evil 2 as well but I've been too preoccupied with Medieval 2 Total War and then before I know it the day is gone.
I will probably run DJ Boy on the Sega Mega Drive first and then I'll get right to it.
I'll just adapt.
Another issue now. I downloaded the BIO2SRT from the resources page so that I could have on screen health and a timer but I can't get it to work. It crashes when I run the game.
Never mind, I was using the wrong .exe for Biohazard 2.
Ok the thing works but I can't get the shortcut to go into windowed mode. The .exe that came with the patch does but it doesn't work with the add on. This is annoying.
Lol just needed to press f8. Derp.
Ok now the timer is stuck at 0 but it still counts down my health and ammo.
Welcome.
I had the same problem and kind of still do. I've tried Sonic the Hedgehog, Ristar, Streets of Rage, Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse. Useless. I did manage to get really good at Golden Axe on the Sega and I posted some runs of Resident Evil HD Remaster but I've got a ways to go before I ever get a world record. The great thing is though, if you practise enough then you start to see results. I was struggling to get below 30 minutes on Golden Axe when I started and now I can beat it under 20.
Keep trying different games and keep at it. There's a game for everyone.
Lol when you said old Disney games I was thinking as old as they get.
Welcome.
Aladdin is a good one on both Sega and Nintendo. Castle of Illusion starring Mickey mouse is another popular Disney game to run.
All you need to do is to register a phone number with Youtube and you can make videos as long as you like.
I think as long as you can stream footage live then it doesn't matter how you do it?
Sounds kind of crummy though. There's a reason nobody does it.
Nice to meet you. That game rules man. Really under rated.
Sounds ambitious. I never did beat that game. Can't gear myself up to get back into it.
I run an old Sega game called Golden Axe and Resident Evil HD remake.
Anyway I hope you can provide some interesting runs and you enjoy the site.
I'm using an Xbox controller so maybe that's why.
I downloaded this earlier but it's giving me the Failed to Initialise Direct X error. Is there much I can do about this?
Never mind, I found the patch and it works great now. Still getting used to analogue stick over dpad but meh. Nothing I can't adapt to.
Lets say hypothetically that I run a PS1 game on a Playstation Two console. What console should I select for my submission?
The loading times on the Playstation Two are much faster correct? So since the console is affecting the time, I should state that it's played on the newer console.
I have an Elgato Game Capture HD and it's fine. I record my Sega Mega Drive, Wii-u and PS4 with it. I don't get any input lag either unless I'm looking at the preview window for some reason. But that's pretty much just to check that I have a good picture. There's no lag on my tv.
Having said all that, I do have to connect an upscaler to it for my Sega because the capture device doesn't have the correct ports for that console.
