This year we are going to celebrate another edition of the basement cup, this time we want it to include more runners.
$1000 price pool distributed among the first 3 players, but if more runners than estimated join the tournament, the price pool might be higher and divided between the top 5 times.
The tournament will be held on September 28th and the qualifiers for the tournament will start in August from 16/8 to 30/8.
If you are interested in participating, you must leave a comment in this thread with your discord name and join the basement cup discord where you will be assigned a competitor role and be eligible to be on the qualifying leaderboard and also have access to the full discord. The leaderboard will be updated with the best times the competitors get during the qualifying weeks.
• Basement Cup 2023 Rules •
• The competitors will classify according to the order of the leaderboard from the date 8/16/23 at 00:00 UTC+0 to 8/30/23 at 22:00 UTC+0. Once the qualifying is over, the 16 best times will qualify for the basement cup on September 28.
• The final order of the qualifying leaderboard will dictate the placements on the tournament (best time, will go against the worst, etc.)
• In order for a run to qualify, it must have the #basementcup on the Stream and VOD
• The runs have to be posted in the discord channel for verification.
• The qualifiers will close on 30/8/23 at 22:00 UTC + 0
• Runs posted before 16/8/23 or after 30/8/23 at 22:00 UTC+0 will not be taken into account.
• GLTool is allowed.
• It is allowed to use vanilla or rebirth patch
• The VOD must have the sound of the game, without external music. Using microphone is allowed.
• Inputs and game SRT must be displayed on the screen.
• Jill and Carlos skins are allowed.
• Runs must be streamed on twitch.
