So recently I submitted 2 speed runs but they got rejected just because it wasn't a youtube link. I think its because of safety reasons but if you don't a YouTube channel then you can't submit a run which is a bit unfair for people that don't have a YouTube account to post videos on. Maybe add like a specific website to use to insert videos but I just want to submit my speedruns. Some people could spend hours on trying to beat a speedrun just to figure this out if they are new. I don't know if they can do anything but if they don't again, I understand.

Also I came across another problem. I don't know how to make the Google drive videos into links to copy.
You can use youtube, twitch or google drive to provide runs as these are the most popular platforms and there are retiming tools for them. Simply put, using other video hosting sites, you cause additional problems for moderators with measuring the exact time of your runs.
@Comrade_S Oh ok thanks for clarifying it I am a bit new so I don't know everything but that is good to know.
Edit: At first I just used that type of link because since the video didn't have a link, I just went on a website to make a link for it. Next time I will use the proper platform since I know. Now I will try to submit again but with the right platform.

Anyway, yeah, plenty of other options should be accepted, YouTube just tends to be preferred because it's by far the most reliable and it's the easiest video player to work with for verification.
