NOTE: This route requires downpatching your game, please see the downpatching guide for more details. It also requires a setup file. It is recommended that your setup file has purchased as many good items (rainbow rarity) and consumables as possible. Do not beat Marco if you use the current patch to make your setup file, as you must be able to rematch him on the old patches for this route to work.

Things to avoid throughout the run: opening your menu while in the overworld (wastes a lot of time due to repeating dory tutorial), talking to totem poles (this will hardlock your game and the save file cannot be recovered, just don't do it)

CS (knock out Marco before mom cutscene triggers, you do this by skipping your special until he's at ~300 HP, then hit him with a special)

Exit to title screen after talking to Marco and Mom and watching credits

Create a new duck, start timer (you should be able to tell if it works if you get the "complete all quests" quest while walking to the sewer)

After Dory is done talking, walk up into the first tournament, do the first battle (equips: ice sword, ice armor, ice helmet, use a burger and protein shake at beginning)

Get 1 jumping

Get 50 special

Get 10 endurance

Battle Dory at the bridge in the North, head North after

Race/battle Santa (freeze him when he's climbing, use burgers to survive the battle, equips: dragon armor+helmet, rocket or ice sword)

Get 1 flying

Go to city, enter dojo

SHOOT (use arrow keys to select locked minigames, press space to enter them)

Train strength to ~80, with the other skills being in the mid-to-high 50s (minus swimming/jumping)

Buy as many battle items as you can

Intentionally lose a race to this duck and exit the race (just spam the spacebar until you run out of energy):

Go to last tourney, skip garden guy using this:

For races: freeze ducks when they climb

For battles: equip items that resist their attacks, weapons that they are weak to, and only use battle items when needed

Marco: same race strategy, equip robot armor/helmet and rocket for battle. Freeze him when his special is charged, use protein shakes/burgers/weather to survive, and try to do the mom skip again for extra time save.
