I recently discovered the IRL Cookie Baking speedrun category through Trevor Cranberry's video, "The Speedrunning History of IRL Bake 12 Cookies Any%" and decided to try my hand at it!
Having decided to follow certain additional rules (cookies must taste good, any mess made must be immediately cleaned up, my comfort cookie recipe with extra steps must be used, must make a double batch to please the masses, etc.) I called time at 0:41:30 since the category rules require twelve cookies to be baked, and that's when my first 16 cookies left the oven. An additional 15 cookies leave the oven at 1:04:52, but I'm hoping the faster time will be the one accepted.
I did not achieve a record time, or even a particularly fast one, but if this run is accepted it won't be the slowest either.
