Hey, I'm new to the run, been practicing a few weeks now and I have some questions:

If Roland gets either duplicate or resurrection is that just an instant restart? It seems impossible to win if he keeps casting those insane spells.

In country Lords, how do you keep them from grabbing other castles and towns while you deal with the top 3? In the record video they stay put, but for me I'm always chasing them down. Is this random?

In greater glory, other than the top 3 monsters (the ones guarding the entrance to the town) are there any other spots dragons can spawn? Same question for the final campaign.

One strategy for dealing w/ Resurrection is to place one of your own creatures on top of their defeated pile. I think the AI prioritizes stronger creatures over the number lost, so block their shooters, take out the weaker ones first, and block their corpses. For Mirror Image, take out the copy, then block the shooters. It might be faster to restart, but considering Wizards get two level 5 spells, sometimes facing Resurrection is faster, especially if they get a Summon Elemental spell.

In Country Lords, it's fairly random where the AI goes, but they'll focus on acquiring castles/towns if they're able to. The best option is to keep some troops and a hero in a castle. This might be enough to dissuade them; other times keep your main hero close by and bait them if they're close enough. Then chase after the rest; they might have taken a town by then.

In Greater Glory, there might be some artifacts guarded by dragons elsewhere, but at the point of gaining troops, it's a time waste to go out of the way for that rather than your castle.

I don't think I have useful answers for the first two questions, hopefully someone else knows more. Roland is a crapshoot from my experience, but you can sometimes still win against resurrection or duplicate. Country Lords is also super random... sometimes the enemies don't do much, but usually they run all over the place.

Greater Glory has 6 dragon spots total, you can just look at a map (e.g. https://www.vgmaps.com/Atlas/PC/index.htm#HeroesOfMightAndMagicII ) or open the map in the game's editor.

Getting the two +luck locations on the way to Roland in the final mission is actually not a bad idea, I finally realized. In my current run I even went out of my way to go to the temple for +morale, but that's probably not worth it.

Go straight to Roland pick up all +exp, chests and +atk along the way. You get to roland before week 3 so you dont end up fighting 12 titans. Focus titan main stack only. You should have around 8+ atk and 25+ dragons so that's three attacks then they usually die. If the main stack dies the mirror dies. From there it's a breeze!
