I see in the wr that he goes for the rope, is that faster than without rope?

I was doing a few runs of the game today on the PS4. I noticed that without the rope, his walk is slightly faster before he jumps down than it is after. This slows you soon for the other 70% of the game when it only takes about 4 seconds in total to get the rope and jump down.

Overall, you would save a handful of seconds by going for the rope instead.

Same goes for the key card. I tried to use the key card since it is less dialogue than triggering all the switches in the factory and without skipping text this saves a lot of time. As a comparison I tried the switches and the factory took me about 20-30sec longer, but I arrived at my house at nearly the same time, without the need to talk to the card again. So rope + key card save a lot of time.
