when entering the hornet protector fight if u fireball her she jumps back and skips the text bubbles not sure if it saves time though as it drains soul i know it works on patch 1.2.2.1 not sure about other patches

I think it can ave time, as you usually start the battle slapping Hornet anyway, andthe soul can be easily recovered.

This is known about but not commonly used in runs since it's easier to stunlock Hornet out of the textbox

Unrelated but if you use mods to get crystal dash before Hornet and then crystal dash into Hornet Arena, the text keeps going but you can walk out. If she starts the battle you get softlocked and cannot go back in. It happened to me using randomizer.
