I propose to make it forbidden to injure on their servers, since something could be added to the location. And therefore, if an unofficial server is used, reject the races.
We already held a poll and the vast majority of players were interested in allowing Peacock on the leaderboards to some capacity: https://strawpoll.com/44zvarz19/r
Furthermore, whether Peacock was used is clearly marked as a variable besides each run. You can easily go to Filter -> Servers -> Official if you dislike the Peacock runs, to make them stop showing up on a given leaderboard.
I understand why not. Since there are no unofficial runs on this site and therefore there is no point in doing this.
"since something could be added to the location"
That's actually not how that works. If something were added to the game, it would have to be client-side. You don't see us serving gigabytes of dynamic resources, we clearly couldn't overwrite a map easily, even if we want to. You would notice.
we don't need more separation of leaderboards. look at peacock as if it were an emulator for hitman, very little changes, with the most notable difference being no (or reduced) server lag. Peacock can help many players that don't own certain items and want a game with full mastery/unlocks. Anyone on PC has access to peacock, and it has been voted in for use on leaderboards so it will stay that way unless an actual competitive advantage is found within peacock that cannot be replicated on official IOI servers.
Hello everyone! Today we have decided to reverse the ban on wearing the "Midnight Black Suit" in Mendoza. This will apply to all Hitman WoA categories and games. We feel the glitch is not nearly game breaking enough to warrant a ban for our speedruns, also it is very stylish :D
