Sooo dchaps is gonna be able to get a SRT to work allowing us to choose the weapon in the locker from the beginning of the run to reduce reset times, every other RNG factor WILL STAY THE SAME, what are your thoughts on it RE3 COMMUNITY ? Yay or Nay?
LOL we haven't used the shotgun for no runs including Nemesis% since the category was created, you should watch the route that is implemented. The route that I see here is really old.

Sooo after reading all of this BabyRage again I tested the EA version again, and at first I was having lag spikes and input drops because I was having a lot of errors at installation. I seem to fix it and tested it offline and it seems to run not faster or slower than Ubi version. Only difference is that EU requires serv pack 2 win XP , UBI doesn't. Yes I abruptly tested the game on stream as I was installing it without doing further test and no I do NOT have time to read posts on forums and test frame data both versions run THE SAME. Supermod , mod, runner dude like come on you are taking this like it is more important than life you gotta calm down a little. If you wanna be mod take it, I just like to contribute to the resident evil speedrun community as much as I can, fake or "legit" I like to have fun with the game and it is a GAME ffs. You are taking this a bit too personal towards me and duds js. Getting the version out there is not hard, it will be done the same way as Mediakite got in every and most runners PCs

@Dara Yes if SRT was in fact banned mod would have to watch entire run and analyze and count damage points from beginning to end, like we are talking about RE3 here EVERYONE takes a grab here and there. there is no " no damage run". @Furry what bobochet said smoother and nicer menus there is inputs drops yes, but it is not as huge as the JAP version that's what I meant by it. And no Steven we don't have to be at your house to validate your run mods would just have to do extra work per run validation, as counting damage points which is general knowledge, bullet counting. etc. I'm not comparing a game version to an external app as SRT but just seeing how you all seem to want a legit board which I agree but if you want legit make EVERYTHING legit not look away at the fact that the SRT is a cheat system as well. SRT makes not only the run easier but the moderation easier so people don't wanna change for the extra work as a runner and moderator.
It is true the version I run looks extra weird because of the cheat system and the intro screens, secondly if SRT gets ban (as I think it should also be so as you are banning China version too for been "not legit") if you wanna make runs legit legit do it completely and turn your back in other aspects. take the SRT out of this page. ban all SRT runs and come on nodding someone that uses SRT it's not hard someone that never menus to check HP someone that doesn't count bullets, runners of this game have seen the difference and the impact on using this SRT while running China. and died in runs for "I didn't know my hp" MODS would have to look the entire rum and extra carefully at this and it can be done. It'll be harder to see yes. but possible. Also wasn't there this one person making and running a third party app to see puzzle RNG s every time before hand? same way. how do you know someone is not using this as well? Noone gets perfect RNG and knows every puzzle first try. So NO SRT can be totally catched it would just be extra work for mods so don't turn your back around on making the runs legit but not legit I'm this aspect. Erase China runs if it wasn't a legit release but be "legit" in every aspect.
True that that it is too late on banning SRT because there is no way to tell if someone is using it or not. But this third party add on makes the game game easier to run and gives you and huge advantage against others. when myself and other jumped into the PC category this was already there, and in order to keep up and compete one had to use this cheat system (game scripts give you no advantage in a run other than knowing your ingame timer) as others opt in to use even turbo as the WR s at that time had it but then it got banned, why SRT was never put it on the forums as a vote either?. Talking about I can find it on ebay and amazon... how many of you actually have the disc of the game.. real talk... maybe just Carci? SRT makes the game easier CHINA version made the game smoother, faster and reduced input lags.

WE tried to bring a faster easier to use version to the field to make people happy and bring back runners into this game and all I hear is BabyRage of non-active runners of the game.I showed what the differences are between JAP and CHN and how visible the input drops and delays are between this 2 versions. Everyone has to run this game at 320 x 240 to accomplish this? It is sad how so many great runs have already been accomplished in this version and the superiority of the version has already been shown and we still hear complains about it.

p.s. All this talk about been "non" legit and most of the runners I hear talking hear use SRT, is SRT a valid legit way to run the game? We are all suppose to know the HP of your character bullet count and boss HP ? Noone started a vote on this and all stay quiet because all use it and made the game easier, but yet they complain about this version been "non" legit. ¤sigh¤
