Alright. I guess I'll try to get a capture card.
It won't let me submit the run because I don't have a video. Why exactly does this game specifically need a video but the rest of the kirby series i've seen does not? (btw my time was 1:39:17.26)
I've been wondering about this too, but I've actually been wanting to speedrun only the Sonic & Knuckles half.
This is gonna be streamed by most competitors, right?
When it says 'Any use of a save state voids the run', does it mean you can't use the save files within the game or the save files on the emulator?
Is using the game's save files allowed if you get a game over?
Kirby's Dream Land is linear, pretty easy and also very, very short (there are only 5 levels). I recommend trying that game first.
If you use OpenEmu (which supports multiple platforms) to do a speedrun of a GB game and it gives you the option to select a core (the core I used was Gambatte), does it count as using Gambatte or OpenEmu?
