for the ways that i know, you can either duplicate hats until your game crashes, or you can BLJ on the elevator in Big Boo's Haunt until your game crashes (this second method may only work on the actual physical N64 game console)

I'm pretty sure there's a way to crash the game by being pushed of a hangable ceiling at the same time you grab on. It can be done in Bob-omb Battlefield (on the underside of the bridge) but I think it requires a handsfree teleported bob-omb which can be difficult to achieve.

you can crash the game on the file select screen. would not make a great category considering how short and easy it would be.

The earliest it would happen would be in bob omb, it would have to be on N64 only, and it's the bridge strat... unless some sort of optimization could be found
