I'm not sure what happened. I installed the game, it runs but instead of playing any sound or FMVs, it just shows 'Error. OpenDriver.' constantly. It seems to be a unique problem so I'd like some advice. Reinstalling has not worked.
Yes, I followed the guide, doesn't work. It is patched to 1.1 already. I do have Windows 10. I'm not sure what the problem is. I installed the Video Codec to play FMVs for Resident Evil 3 and I'm not sure if that's what caused the problem or not.
Alright, so I messed about and now I got the FMVs to work but the sound does not. Same error though. Where the sound is supposed to be played, that error pops up instead.
As for updating the video drivers, that was not the solution. I have also tried installing IndirectSound, that did not work either.
What do you mean by that? I have uninstalled RE2 from the folder, I uninstalled where I extracted it from. That doesn't seem to be a problem, it seems to be one of the drivers.
