Things worth noting:

1. I'm 99% sure strafe-running is faster.
2. I think that the Sotiris eyeball always shows up in the second place you look.
3. The shotgun is completely unnecessary now.
4. You don't have to face towards a door to open in. You just have to be near enough for the "OPEN" text to appear.

This is still worth improving.
