Part 1: How the skip works

Looks pretty simple right? Well there's a lot of factors you might miss here. First off, to do this skip, you must understand how it works. Logan Kart 8 has checkpoints scattered around the map. If a checkpoint is hit, you will be teleported back to that checkpoint when the player enters a death barrier. (ie: water in Funtastic Forest) A lap will count when the player goes around the goal line, so if you go through the goal line backwards, it will prevent the lap from counting, thus to prevent going in circles around the goal to win a stage. So the skip works by going past the goal and teleporting around it to trick the game into thinking the player went around the entire track.

Part 2: Doing the skip

Take a look at this image:

This is a map of Funtastic Forest with some marks in it. The purple mark represents the goal, and as you can see it stretches into the out of bounds area. The blue and red marks represent checkpoints. (Note: These marks are not in the exact place as the checkpoints. The image is a rough map of the checkpoints) Touching the blue or red marks will cause you to respawn at that location. Even though the red and blue marks have the same function, they are marked differently because the red mark is the checkpoint you want to activate. Driving over the checkpoint will activate it. The checkpoint is on the place marker in red on this image: (Note: checkpoints are invisible and you cannot see them in game) After you activate that checkpoint, enter the patch of grass to the left of the red bar in that image and you're on to your next step. After that go across the track like this: following the green line in that picture. Try to stay close to the wall. When you approach the finish line pass it while still staying close to the wall. After you cross the goal line you will notice this patch of grass: Drive into it then turn counter clockwise and drive along the slanted portion of the track until you get to the left of the tree like this: Now there is something important you must know to do the next step. Take a look at this image: The blue circle is the tree you should be next to, the red circle however shows a pattern. Two green marks (visible in game) on the slanted portion of the track. After you pass the tree count 6 green marks then drive into the water where the sixth green mark is. You should respawn here: and then cross the finish line and if it goes to the next lap, you did everything correctly. If you don't respawn there, then It likely will not work, and here's why. If you respawned here: then the respawn would look like this: (The respawning is colored in cyan in that image) This will not work because you are going through the goal backwards instead of going around the goal which will prevent the lap from counting. It should look like this: As you can see, the cyan line in the second image is not crossing the finish line (purple) unlike the first image.
