A little advise for PC runners.
Knowing that the autosplitter is finally usable for PC versions, it was decided to make it mandatory for having a more precise RTA tracking.
For all those whom still know it, autosplitter was edited and it will stop automatically at the split named "-150 Giganotosaurus".
Indeed the split "-150 Giganotosaurus" matches to the final loading times (the final opening door) after killing the giganotosaurus.
The split "-END" was removed because useless and extra annoying.
In this way, runners just need to start manually the timer and run.

The rules for RTA start should be changed, though, because the autosplitter doesn't start on the difficulty selection.

@Nazzareno right click livesplits > Edit Layout > Scriptable Auto Splitter then untick start then u can manual start the time on difficulty

It's also necessary to run both livesplit and DC2 as an admin mode.

I mean, since we are talking about using the atuosplitter to have perfect RTA. Starting with the in game time would just improve the accuracy and save like three seconds.

yeah I don't see why PC have to start on the difficulty section when the auto splitter was made to start when the game starts and its only 2/2.5 secs faster we can even change the rules for it now ( I don't even think top 5 runners would care too ) and it would not make a difference for new runners. just my opinion.

That change would only affect @gomotodo s actual time if i´m not wrong. If he has no problem with that, me neither.

It wouldn't have to be retroactive. The runs already done will be 3 seconds slower, so easily improvable.

The reason why RTA timing starts after selecting difficulty because it's a standard in speedrunning from what I know. and then yes, just like say Nazzareno, if it will happen... runs already will be 3/4 seconds slower.

Okay, so 3/4 seconds matter? I have no problem with either way of starting the run, but since we have an autosplitter we could use it.
