What are acceptable source ports?

uhexen
fteqw
hexenworld

i tried playing demos on hexenworld port, demos seem to be in sync could play all as well

Most records have been done on the Hammer of Thyrion source port. It is not identical in gameplay code compared to original. But there hasn't been strict version rules for this game so far.

I've been working on a speedrun focused source port with some features like speedometer added in. Goal is to make its gameplay identical to original. It's a fork based on Hammer of Thyrion. I added a link to it on the Resources-page.
