Also curious how you got setsuna for Zhou Tai, his level 10 in dw4 is Dusk, i thought that was the highest. Everything I find online says Setsuna is level 11 for xtreme legends

Hello, I'm looking to become a mod for Dynasty Warriors 4, the current and only mod for this game hasn't been active in several months, and has not responded to any posts in the forum for it. If not, I can accept that, however, I do check the boards almost every day (it's my homepage on chrome) and I know the game fairly well.

First, not to be pissy, but why would you have the three main factions and the other 4 or how many others all grouped in as other, they each have their own storyline and each have different maps, i think they should all be set to their own. second, I'm suprised nobody is playing this in jp, there's so many more clips and stuff, or is jp just not on the leaderboard. and lastly how refined are these runs? did you do them a couple times or did you try to grind them down as much as possible?

If i'm not mistaken Utage was the japan release with more playable characters, is it possible to get a board for the us version (Think it was just sengoku basara samurai heroes)?

Alright, fair enough, I didn't actually know that. Seemed like after getting master rank there was nothing else that came up so i figured it was over.

Since there are no rules posted on there, perhaps any% would be just getting to master rank? it seems anything after that is more post game type stuff, from my experience anyways.

if you don't mind me asking, what video trimming software do you use? I have one but it takes -forever-.

I'm Noticing that the Special Drops are not consistant, they get skipped sometimes and added other times, I tried counting to see if it was every so many drops, but very inconsistant, seems like sometimes it'll be 20+ drops other times 5, so I'm not sure about them.

My opinion if I did this correctly is that the spawns, initial and otherwise are random, I'm not really catching a pattern, other than they loop after so many pickups. Unless there's a set number if lists that it pulls from, but then it'd be up to you to memorize how many ever lists there are or find a manip to get the list you want.

Alright, I'll go ahead and try that then, It might be more accurate to turn the bots off and have another active player just to sit there and track items as you grab them. although, I believe that the initial spawns, at least on the hd version are random.

How would one test this, I play on HD, I'll confirm once I know what I'm doing

Any thoughts on that MrJanwar? I mean, I'm not opposed to allowing beginner with +50 levels and teir 6 weapons, it'll make for faster runs, but at the same time it would require setup by gathering points if you don't have them

Also i wanted to point out that there's no restrictions on bonus points. at least not that i've seen. it's be silly to have a run where you use your points for teir 6 weapons and starting 50 levels higher. I think perhaps we should have it restricted to no bonus's they all can lead to a -very- early overwhelming advantage (also no difficulty that i've noticed either, which is fine from a speedrun perspective)

Thanks for the feedback, Glad to hear about the first part, the second part was mainly because I enjoy the bow in the game, but not necessarily the character that uses it, and i always use either the power or speed setups, as the bow has that silly double jump mechanic. and the third i was thinking like the achievements are, i think be appointed strategist, and i think there's one for be the successor also.

1. While I think threaten is a -very- great idea here, for a smaller game like the coup, perhaps it'd be an idea to have a separate category for not using threaten. (Actually fighting for the win, like the warrior you are )
2. What real harm is there in using a custom character? There's not really much difference that i can tell other than the stat setup.
3. Maybe have a category for going from free officer rising up the ranks to get to commander, strategist, etc.

is there a 100% glitchless type of thing, no out of bounds, etc? or do most of the runs include clipping out?

Not sure where this game fits in with the ones on the site. Ps3 one... Think it had some dlc for japan only.

I know you can live stream from PS4, how can you record from there? I've checked twitch and my videos don't end up on the previous videos or whatever it is.
