Ok through very quick testing, I believe there has been only one major change to the physics, and that is not being able to go in a golf hole at high speeds, instead you will now bounce off the hole, this makes all of the ILs for classic, custom and potentially random much slower. I have no idea if there are other physic changes, I have no idea what is the best action currently for the ILs, any suggestions would be great. Current ideas; 1. New LB called 'old physics' for classic, custom and runs that are now slower. 2. Leave it as is, meaning a run like forest classic will never be able to be beaten (I know Lance wants this option.) 3. Just clear all the ILs that are now slower, removing all history and times. 4. Overkill, no testing, just clear all the ILs except space. 5. New LB called 'old physics' with all the old IL runs on it (except Space runs).
I think option 2 is a good solution. (Still voting for Solution 5)
Gizzy has brought this to my attention 'Jumping on hills/ramps is fucked too..' so i think that breaks forest dunk 15, not sure if it will make any of the hockey runs slower though.
The original idea to create another subcategory for the newer versions of the game is good enough.
For now i am trying to test all ILs to see which runs are now slower, so far the list is: All Classic All Custom All Random Forest Dunk Haunted Dunk Candyland Dunk Ancient Dunk Oasis Hockey Ancient Hockey Candyland Hockey Haunted Hockey Twilight Hockey (This post/list will be edited as new changes are found) (I have now realized it would be simpler to list runs that AREN'T changed)
Note: Another change to the game is that reset time for the ball is now longer, although this shouldn't change IL times at the top as they shouldn't need to reset ever.
List of ILs that seem to be unchanged: Pirate Cove, Oasis and Twilight Dunk. Pirate Cove and Forest Hockey.
So 5/35 ILs seem unchanged.
Of these 5 ILs we could later find they are slower, this at least for me, makes options 4 and 5 seem more logical, as at least 80% of the ILs are now different. (I like option 5.)
Option 5 means that the new physics/IL runs will be the primary display, with the old physics/IL runs a click or two away as a "sub category" board so to speak? That'll be my vote.
Quick side note: Space Random is hilarious cause of all the bugged shape interactions atm (gravity, tunnels, certain terrain, etc.)
As someone that'll probably never submit an IL run (so take my vote with a grain of salt), Option 5 does make the most sense to me. No reason to get rid of the history, especially since a lot of the runners have left the game in droves.
Not exactly sure what is the best way to resolve this issue, i want it to be democratic and just put it to a vote but with how small the community and with so many options (5) they could easily be tied, what does everyone think, just make a strawpoll?
According to previous posts i'm sure most are on board with option 5 already, no need to poll imo.
It seem that most, if not all people are ok with option 5, if anyone is completely against option 5 then i will give you a few days to put a response in here detailing why we should put it to a vote.
Due to no disagreement with the implementation of option 5, I have updated the IL's. The IL board does now look a bit cluttered but hopefully most people are happy with the outcome.
@ureadmyname my 3:10 candyland custom time should be under new physics (did the run about 1.5 months ago I think); for old physics, I believe you and I were tied at 3:11

Thanks for pointing that out, I think it will have to be re-submitted, but i will try to fix it first. When updating the ILs, I wasn't sure if any IL runs were new physics, I'll go through and try to find all the new physic runs and create a list of them.
