If, for whatever reason, found yourself here searching for another CtC snipe reference, you've come to the right place!

Match the images above (either or), scope out, scope in, and fire! If the reticle can't land in the center of the window, it's best to aim to the left. Zooming in after scoping out isn't required. Vertical lineup does not matter at all since it'll be fixed once you scope out.

Be mindful that the sniper does have bullet travel and playing replays too quickly can cancel shots.

I cover this before I concluded the post but I would say not really to both. During my extensive stream where I tried to figure out the softlock issue, I had to complete that mission several times to see if certain theories worked and didn't have too much of an issue. Even during attempts I only recall failing the mission once out of two attempts that made it that far.

For reference: Showing Off is the Phenon Penh equivalent.

After being bored due to the lack of streams to watch, I decided to revisit this mod. 10+ hours of re-routing and engineering, I was able to muster up enough confidence to do this all in one go. Unfortunately not in a single segement due to the instability of the mod but still quite the feat none the less.

New Stuff

• A good chunk of the bikers in Closed Set can largely be ignored. If, however, the bus is on fire, quickly drive to the mark to extinguish (This can be seen in the beginning of the vod, though I was unsuccessful).
• In Cold Turkey, you can take a boat to Washington Beach instead of grabbing the bike at Pier 1. More hassle is involved as zombies can block you as you try to jump on land. As long as you can keep track of the water waves, you should be fine.
• In the same mission, the only item that you are required to get is the note located in the back room to the left. Followed up with the key card which I will touch on later.
• * The Stoner and Diabetic missions (White Seed, Lighting Up and Playing Dr.) with the exception of Cold Turkey are not required. You can go straight to Showing Off without their missions.

• = Huge improvement over the last run.

General Knowledge and Tips

• SAVE. This shit will crash yo (It'll always find a way).
• Closed Set: As you can collect the last key card in Stage B to trigger the cutscene sequence, you cannot finish the mission unless you collect them in the correct order.
• Cold Turkey: You need to collect the key card and free the prisoner; this part of the mission is required. Fail to do so and you will not have any new missions available after Showing Off which a lot of players experienced.
• No fault to theirs, there is a playthrough of the aforementioned mission (a popular one I may add) that incorrectly does this mission but doesn't disclose this nor show any struggle of unlocking later missions.

Said playthrough as bbcode no longer works.

• Showing Off is a mission that can be difficult due to seemingly random factors (fucked driving paths that result in both the truck and the heli becoming stuck at some points; thanks for the gazillion checkpoints, Hellfish). But on the off-chance that things are smooth, here are some tips:
• A good place to shoot is inbetween the bikers. Here you will have a chance to shoot either the gunner or the driver which works. In other words, aim better lol.
• This may seem scary but don't let the truck leave your sight when shooting the bikers. They can easily teleport directly behind the truck with easy line of sight of the barrels.
• Remember that there are only 4 (four) bikers. If you only fought off 3 (three) then be on the look out for the other.

As this does work, the issue is that it's very possible for your cursor can click the timer can get caught on the timer

Edit: This only applies with the pause menu afaik, this works pretty well.

If you're having the problem where you can't show your timer on stream while playing Vice City on fullscreen. Here's a possible solution

1. Get DxWnd
2. Add your Vice City profile and try to match this

3. Set your W/Livesplit to Always on Top

Once you open your game with dxwnd open, alt-tab to your timer and it should be able to overlay your game.

Now, depending on your desired setup, you might need to cutback on a few things to avoid any inconvenience—not having too many splits or just having it too big— Here are a few dead-spots that are labeled in pink.

You usually won't need these areas in-game (I left the top left corner free because tool tips are actually useful in some instances).

You have to turn into ball form because flying form has a slower falling speed.

Just so you know, the only reason why Trevor% is still a thing because the GTAV mods will baby rage at rationality and lock the threads.
