Hey, i´m new here and im planing to attempt a Any% speedrun tomorrow (6/12/21) and just wanted to clear something up, i need a new account and time it from gettin to the menu until the end movie appears correct?

Yeah you need to make a new account and the timer starts when you press 'X' to receive your first car. The timer stops when the ending video starts. It's a blank black screen and Gran Turismo Sport comes up I'm pretty sure.

I just watched WestRoadZ' run in the any% category and it appear to me that his time should be 7:13:49, as he originally submitted, so can anyone tell me why it was retimed?

Before we changed the start/finish times for Any%, TheBook92 advised that previous Gran Turismo games start the runs from the first input into a race to the last input. He retimed it but I hadn't changed it since I've gone through and made various changes to timing methods.

I'll make the change and thanks for the heads up!

Thanks mate, i hope you at least had fun watching, had good pace but made a lot of stupid mistakes. Next time i'll prepare myself better so i dont need to stop to eal of go to the bathroom lol
