Also, if you don't like console, you have two options:
1: Deal with it
or
2: Get a PC.

Or have a fair system where PC players have their own categories to glitch to their hearts content and console players can compete on a level playing Field in their own categories. I don't want a PC thanks I like the skill it takes to do these races as the developers intended without resorting to cheat with glitches. That's the whole point of speed runs, skill , what skill is there in a glitch to make everything easier and to avoid trying to get the best time by legitimate means? Hardly any point of trying to do it in the first place.

There is plenty of skill in some of the glitches that PC players use and as a console player myself we know we are a step below the PC runners so instead have our own console competitions/comparisons. Makes perfect sense, console players can't use glitches like PC does. So console players who play the game as the developers intended can't compete with PC runs. Sooooo it makes complete sense for PC and console to have separate categories. Don't understand the objection to it as most other games on this site have separate categories for PC and console. I'm not surprised no ones agreeing to my idea as your all PC players and just don't care either way.

What difference does it make if there is a button like other categories to switch between pc and console or simply using the filter? It is literally the same. The only downside is that you have to select a single console instead of all at once but that is a problem you need to bring up with src and not us.
But with the way you are communicating and instantly attacking everyone you won't get very far there either so gl on that

Flawed statement. It's not just skill. There are runs of games that rely on high amounts of luck and other factors for a run to live past certain segments.

It is obvious that pc and console should be separated, they are fundamentally different ways to play the game and console can never compete with pc. But most gta runners are pc elitists who simply dont care about those who prefer to play in other platforms. You can see it in the way they respond everytime there is a discussion like this. "Just buy a pc", "dont play in the inferior platform", "just filter the runs on the leaderboard", "just deal with it". The runners here dont care about having a fair competition.

No, Jolie, runners on PC are not elitists, and I'm honestly getting kind of tired of people using this buzzword like it answers everything.

The reason there isn't a split for a different platform, is because it's the same game that we are playing. Besides, console is not a single goddamn platform! Oldest gen is arguably really different from old gen, which is also arguably very different from current gen because of the higher possible FPS. If you guys would want true equality, we would need to split it all 4 ways, and then that doesn't even account for the fact that a better computer saves literal tens of minutes compared to a really low-end one.

I am sorry that you guys feel like you cannot compete, but like what do you honestly want to happen? For there to be 20 more categories, just so that instead of using a filter, you can have a definite gold medal next to your name? You don't need an icon to be happy in life. I never had one, and I'm still here. I suggest you guys do the same.
