How does the 360 re-release differ?

I'm mostly interested in the differences for speedrunning (this probably excludes the graphics)

  1. does it allow variable traffic (little, classic, a lot) ; can it be toggled quickly?
  2. is the manual aiming usable? (on PS2, the sensitivity was frustratingly high)
  3. can you skip less cutscenes/calls as in the mobile versions?
  4. how prone to crashing is it?

Edit: those are just a few questions I came up with, feel free to talk about different things.

Information taken from Bang's stream:

  1. No idea
  2. Seemed okay
  3. Yes, some cutscenes are unskippable. Calls are skippable.
  4. Bang crashed 4 times in a row in Home Coming, which seems to be consistent.

Other changes include CJ's ability to run up walls to climb them, autosaves and checkpoints. Planes and helicopters seem to handle more like GTA V. Some speedrun strats didn't work, but that may be just Bang not doing them correctly. Sliding doesn't work the same way, as it requires you to shoot while sliding.

I was just trying stuff out and I was able to slide without shooting, if you hold down the left trigger to aim while in free aiming mode it works. But to make it work, you have to crouch manually, just pressing sprint doesn't do it.

That also links Blantas' doc that aims to be more thorough. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7veItDN5ALkQ3VmRXQyY0w1clE/view

I think that I might be going to use the remastered PC version for hundo races due to checkpoints saving time when the game crashes or I fail stuff. I do not know how bad the mouse aiming is since I do not have Win10 or 8.1 installed, yet.
