I do the casino heist missions sometimes on my own time and I think there should be a category for it.

The run would start when you enter the marker to start architecual espionage, and it ends when the screen fades away at the end of breaking the bank at caligulas.

When does a run start, when does it end? You need to give a bit more information before we can consider adding it, though I'm not convinced adding it is a good idea if the category is what I think it is.

If there is interest, I can create and maintain a 'leaderboard thread' in the GTA board for runs of the 'unpopular arbitrary categories', like Vice City no duping, GTA:SA all collectables/tags/etc, foot% of course :D, all story missions and more. People can then post their and other people's runs and I'll put them into a leaderboard. Give a like to show that there is interest.

Starting a run from a save is always a bit problematic in regards of comparing times. There are many variables that can be an issue: What stats does CJ have, what weapons, health, armor, what is the weather/traffic light pattern, what other missions are completed/safehouses bought..

It's fine if you do just a practice segment and maybe roughly compare it, but if it should go on a leaderboard, then these things should be reasonably defined, even if it's not that serious of a category. Maybe create an "official" save (which of course would have to work for all versions).

There seams to be no interest, honestly I wasn't surprised. I like gimmick/arbitrary categories, though.

I am in favor of keeping a google doc to the side with the second degree arbitrary categories (like all robberies, RTLS%, Destroy all Blista Compacts that you see%, etc), until they become big enough to be included on the actual leaderboards site (like VC all packages, GTA4 classic%, etc). This to avoid clutter and having unused categories on the main leaderboards.

Anything that makes it easy for a user to submit and can be found is good. You can also link to http://client01.chat.mibbit.com/#gta@irc2.speedrunslive.com for submission over IRC, alternative might be a pm or a forum thread or both.
