Faster than C-sliding, might help your runs. You can sprint while doing it and change back to fists, you go incredibly fast.

Just going to dump everything I find out about this here:

Getting hit by bullets slows you down (CJ says "OW" and slows down a bit) making it not useful for sliding through missions with enemies.

The setup time is around 2-3 seconds (unlike "normal" sliding's "as fast as you can do it" time).

During the slide you can switch weapons.

During the slide you can freely move in any direction (or none!) and maintain the slide, you can also do all of CJ's standing movements (Walking (ALT), Normal (W,A,S,D), Jogging (Holding SPACE), and yes even Sprinting! (Tapping SPACE with light weapon). It seems that it adds CJ's "Walking while in fighting pose" speed to whatever other movement you do (making this faster then sprinting).

It seems easy enough to get this consistently (I've been using it for ~1 hour and I'm confidently getting it).

It doesn't seem to work with any other weapon (I've only tested a Knife (another melle weapon) and a Minigun (another animation changing weapon) so feel free to try others!).

Attacking or doing any other animation (falling, phone call) cancels it.

You can only sprint/jog on sprintable surfaces, like normal.

For any% only place i can think of right now where this can be used is the run to cropduster after entering quarry - just before duping BP

You can pick up the chainsaw at outrider with 0 timeloss, it's up top where the guys at the 2nd wave are. Can you sprint in interiors with this?

Firstly, take the Quarry call hands-free by taking it during the fade in Quarry. Hanging up works fine, instantly. There is no need to wait for those putting out/away the phone animations that way.

It might be slower even at a high distance. Running with jumps to preserve stamina is only a bit slower than running normally but lets you run much, much longer. You cannot do that with this slide since that would cancel it.

Even if that problem did not exist, this seems to save roughly 0.5s every 15 seconds, that's about 1s at the ~30s that the run to the crop duster takes and similar to the time it loses to set that slide up.

Chainsaw slide can be done on PS4. just thought y'all should know.
