First, I'd like to focus on how much faster Monster duping actually is, so maybe someone who can actually play this game would like to time it. I don't feel like talking about the rest for now, I want to do a run. ^^ Someone press me so that I do it tomorrow morning.

The problem is that the Catalina call is unlocked by Ran Fa Li (or duped Mountain Cloud Boys - not worth it anyways). So we need to use the Zero call or the The Truth call to dupe High Jack (or Monster). Zero is too slow, I'll leave it at that for now.

The The Truth call is only relevant if you dupe High Jack, for Monster, using the Zero call should be faster, anyways.

About the The Truth call If you are curious as to how we would keep the The Truth call until High Jack - I can't be bothered trying to give you a good explanation, just the usual confusing one you are used from me, I guess... It is not my intention that you completely understand this by now, only that it is an option. So how do you keep the The Truth call? By cancelling it every time it comes up. You can use shooting if you are in a hands-free call, getting teleported into a car in a cutscene, or jumping into the water. See the video.

The big problem is the two Toreno calls, for them you can only stand next to the water and keep cancelling the The Truth call until you get the Toreno call... :( These are my notes. Driving School: after Outrider, hold the call through it (literally, never release the hold button).

Calls: Zero call:start of Jizzy Jethro call: During T-Bone outside of the cutscene - deal with traffic Woozie call: during Toreno's Last Flight.

I can upload a video but I messed up a lot in my PB and that is all I have got but the things I got right show some of the things I described in this post. Is holding the call really necessary for the majority of SF? Seems like I could just grab the dupe after Pier 69 and it would be the same speed or even faster due to not having to do all the fancy crap (also safer).

You need to fail Vigilante to get the proper camera back, so you need to have an om0 call before then. After that, the time lost keeping the om0 call does not seem to be high enough to justify getting another om0 call.

It costs almost nothing in ICK, almost nothing in Pier, quite a bit dumping the 300 tec9 bullets. That's all I see but I am not thinking hard.

I want to check out the Spilling the Beans instapass candidate, so I'm not calculating the whole time. It feels like it should be <20%, though, not sure.

holding through p69 sounds inconsistent (tire pop from t-bone) how to get rid of stars after outrider? just not use rpg? or does driving school take 'em away? still haven't even tried the bp dupe w/missa x2,so much stuff, so little time :( edit: never mind about the st stuff, i didn't even notice the vid. i forgot you like editing posts (he says as he edits his)

Tire pops are a problem but I guess not too bad? Tbh, I have not tested these strats well but: Cancel the call, wait a bit, kill T-Bone, watch the cutscene a bit, kill Ryder in a way that the call comes in while he dies. If you have AK ammo left, you could shoot at the boat with your sniper rifle and use the AK to finish the boat off while holding the call.

i know, but if it doesn't save much time, then it is not worth taking the risk? it's just sooo incommodious - the whole call holding thing - which is what is keeping me back from the strats i will do it though - it's too important now.

I'm also not sure about the holding call things, really puts me off wanting to learn these strats. Also not sure how the flight school dupe works :D Where you go set it up?

I'm tired but these should be those extra holding time for the proper Woozie skip route. <10min if you can play the game (unlike me).
