Hello everyone,

I've been watching GTA (III, VC, SA) streams pretty often (for the past year or so) and I would like to try to finish the game asap for fun.

I already remember most of the current routes but I am unable to do them myself. It would be probably best if someone posted a screenshot of their controls settings or at least helped me change the few that bother me. Also, answer to some questions could be that I suck.

1. Driving with both hands on keyboard / keyboard + mouse ? Do you despawn the traffic manually with mouse or do you press some key ?

2. Riding a bike Keyboard settings for that ? if I drive using ASDW I am unable to go fast because I am somehow unable to mash W rapidly (Guess the answer for this one is me being bad)

3. Brake / Handbrake One is set to S, the other one to Spacebar. If I want to get gold Burn and Lap in driving school I need to switch it otherwise I am unable to do it So what are the settings for brakes ?

4. UP/DOWN on bike Settings ?

Driving with the keyboard, looking around with the mouse.

Manually with the mouse/camera.

I personally like to bind my back and forward buttons of my mouse to left and right (besides A and D). This way I can freely mash W and keep changing direction.

Space is brake, S is driving backwards, for me at least. Also note that Driving School is not required for Any% (I assume you want to run this category).

I use left shift and ctrl, look it up in the options.

I'd suggest you just try out stuff and see what works for you.

Oh yeah I got a little bit confused about the brake, I remembered switching S and Spacebar sometime ago to do Burn and Lap and for some reason I thought it's both brakes.. Thanks for the tips

I was testing the controls and this happened. Looks like it will be more fun than I thought.

I made this a few years ago, but it's still basically the same as I use now

Or just try them in a run without practice and then after 10 runs you'll get them all. [/quote] Seeing where you're going with the mouse is OP in both cars and planes. Mouse for despawning is the only way I know of unless you can somehow use an analog stick for it.

[/quote] S and Spacebar for Reverse Brake and Handbrake respectively. I cant remember if I just use handbrake or both on Burn and Lap. Should look at the input part of a VOD of mine.

B and N I can reach with my left thumb allowing my right hand to look around whatever, useful if you don't have thumb buttons on the mouse, which I use more frequently, but I kept B and N in case my right thumb gets tired. I also have it bound to the up and down arrow key in case I do feel like taking my right hand off the mouse, but I never do this and it's a bad way of playing and you shouldn't do that. These same keys apply to planes. Having all keys within reach of the left hand makes flying so much less a plane in the ass.
